The former refers to quantification in a completely dry state with water equal to zero, and the latter refers to quantification when moisture balance is reached at a certain humidity. The so-called quantitative refers to the latter. Quantitative measurements are performed under standard conditions of temperature and humidity (1 degree above and below 23; 2% above and below 50 relative humidity).

The thickness is the vertical distance between the two surfaces of the paper measured under a certain area and pressure. The thickness of the paper is not directly related to the basic specifications of the paper, but thickness is a very important quality indicator for print users and publishers.
Thickness has a close relationship with the quantification, and paper with a large thickness is generally higher in ration. However, the relationship between the two is not a simple proportional relationship. The existing paper with a small thickness is higher than the paper with a large thickness, which is due to the influence of the different degrees of tightness (density).
To make a page equal to 500 sheets of paper is called a command, and the weight of a paper is called the weight of the paper. Internationally there are also 480 or 1,000 orders. Special attention should be paid to foreign paper business and the use of imported paper.
The weight of a flat sheet is generally not the actual weight of the sheet but the weight calculated based on the standard of the sheet.
