Copolymer infusion bag

Excel IV is a copolymer infusion bag made from a combination of bio-neutral ethylene and polypropylene films. This container was developed specifically for parenteral treatment. It is transparent, flexible, and can be autoclaved to reduce the waste of infusions, reduce costs, and eliminate dangerous odors that are often emitted when medical waste is incinerated.

The outer layer of the infusion bag is a tough, elastomeric, transparent, flexible copolymer that increases strength and durability and reduces the risk of breakage. Elastomers are chemically resistant, resistant to wear, resistant to high temperatures and high pressures, and neutral polyesters that can adapt to a variety of temperature changes.

The weight of the outer layer elastomer is lighter than that of other competing materials, and of course, the resulting infusion bag is also relatively light, and the weight of the medical waste eventually generated is also greatly reduced. When the infusion flow is empty, the overall weight of the Axel 4 infusion bag is 48% of that of a similar PVC container. Although the weight is reduced, the medical safety performance is not changed.
