Most of the domestic second-level carton plants use the ratio of the weight of paper produced and the weight of the original paper to calculate the utilization rate of the original paper. Although the original paper utilization rate can not be accurately obtained by the above method, if the input-output method can be used first, the change trend of the utilization rate of the original paper will also be seen, and the accumulation of the utilization rate of the original paper will be more accurately calculated and formulated in the future. The data will lay the foundation for the accurate formulation of the utilization rate of the base paper or the establishment of consumption indicators. The premise of the input-output method is that the basis weight, moisture content, and shrinkage of the base paper are in the standard state, and the factors such as the amount of starch attached and the moisture exceeding the standard are not considered.

The input-output method can only be used to estimate the average weight of squared board units, but the change in board squared weight per unit may fluctuate significantly from month to month, so the data should only be used as a trend analysis.
The specific practice of the input-output method is relatively simple. The specific process is as follows:

According to the above statistical process, the number of losses for each process (machine) is counted, and the statistical time is generally taken for three months. The average data for three months are listed separately, the loss rate of each process (machine) is calculated, and the loss rate of each process (machine) is summed to obtain the total average loss rate. Here we must specifically put forward: the weighing of the base paper can't be omitted, and the weighing of the small paper cylinders that have not been produced can't be omitted. The total loss rate is calculated by summing the loss rates of various processes (machine platforms) for scrapped products weighing on the platform. Both weighing instruments must be in a qualified state to synchronize the data statistics, that is, to remove the data of a floor load damage period.

While carrying out statistical work, if possible, collect statistics methods, statistical data, and set target values ​​for the loss rate of the base paper in the same industry. When collecting relevant data from peers, pay attention to and collect the data collection conditions of the peers. This is a reference for the company when setting the original paper loss rate.

The method described above is a method for calculating the consumption of raw paper that is commonly used when using domestic production lines. It is also a basic and feasible method. In order to calculate the raw paper consumption of the cardboard line more accurately, the moisture content of the statistical base paper should be detected very accurately; the random variation of the corrugating machine pick-up rate should be checked; the actual length of the base paper produced in each layer of the paperboard should be checked; The weight of the base paper used for the paperboard was accurately metered to calculate the actual consumption of base paper for each paperboard. However, in most secondary carton factories, it is almost impossible to accomplish these tasks manually. However, if the paperboard production line can use a computer, configure an online moisture detector, configure the paper corrugated paper meters meter, and use a computer to complete the actual moisture of the base paper. And the actual measurement of the use of meters, the raw paper utilization rate will be closer to the actual value. Here, the author proposes that the secondary carton plant can temporarily calculate the consumption of raw paper according to the input-output method. The indicator for determining the consumption of raw paper can be considered based on the average value of the three-month statistics. Although the equipment, personnel, and order structure of each company may not be exactly the same, on the basis of the average consumption index for the three months after the statistics, it will be appropriate to formulate the consumption target of the base paper by dropping by about 20%.
