Hong Kong launches mooncake box recycling scheme to raise public awareness of environmental protection

The Hong Kong SAR Government Environmental Protection Agency and the Hong Kong Food and Beverage Association Association and other institutions are preparing to launch a "Moonlight Box Recycling Program" to collect mooncake boxes to raise public awareness of waste recycling and environmental protection.

According to an official from the Hong Kong Environmental Protection Agency, the EPD will set up recycle bins in 14 large shopping malls in various parts of the territory to collect clean paper or iron moon cake boxes. The public can visit from September 12 to 14 and 20 to 21 From 11am to 8pm, mooncake boxes are sent to these recycling stations.

It is reported that in order to encourage the public to actively participate in this activity, the public will receive a coupon for a moon cake box with paper or iron, and coupons will be available for consumption at designated restaurants on or before September 30th.
