Research and Application of Special Adhesives to the Civil Market

In order to promote the transformation of research and application of specialty adhesives into the civilian market, the Military Affairs Office of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association will hold the first national seminar on the research and application of specialty adhesives in Weihai City, Shandong Province on May 28.

Special adhesives are important supporting materials for weapons and equipment. In the past 20 years, with the development of weapons and equipment, China's special adhesive research has made great progress in manufacturing technology, product variety and product performance, and developed thousands of high-performance adhesives. A number of new varieties such as high temperature resistance, ultra-low temperature, high strength, heat and humidity resistance, long life, and multi-functionality have been successfully developed, solving many technologies in the manufacture of rockets, missiles, aircraft, ships, weapons, and nuclear industries. The difficulties have made outstanding contributions to China's military industry. A few varieties have also been initially applied in civilian industries. The purpose of this meeting is to promote the transfer of military product technical results to the civilian market.
