The four-color printed tipping paper developed to fill the gap in the production of tipping paper in the Harbin Tobacco Factory was successfully used in new products such as the “Northeast Tigerâ€.
According to reports, due to the complexity of the plate making process and the high requirements for raw materials, the four-color tipping paper is relatively expensive in the market, and thus increases the cost of some cigarette products. Sun Island Tobacco Industrial Co., Ltd. based on this situation, in order to improve the level of corrugated paper products and to reduce the cost of production of cigarettes for cigarette smoking in Harbin Cigarette Factory, after scientifically conducting feasibility verification, it was decided to produce the existing tipping paper. Based on the equipment, reform and transformation of key parts will be carried out, and as far as possible the lowest input will be used to develop four-color printed tipping paper.
According to calculations, the four-color printing tipping paper produced by the Harbin Tobacco Factory can be reduced by 10% compared with the use of similar products purchased from abroad, and at the same time it provides guarantees for the consistency of physical and chemical indicators of tobacco products, the continuity of cigarette production and use, and the quality of cigarettes. The relevant department identified that the product can completely replace the outsourcing of similar products.
