2. Check the bearing movement. The bearing seat rotates flexibly, and there should be no swing.
3. Remove the bearing and check the bearing bore with a micrometer. If the bearing bore is severely worn (when it exceeds 0.0005 inches under the printed standard specification) or is scratched, the anilox roller should be sent out for journal repair.
4. Check if there is any burr on the keyway. The burr will hinder the installation of the flat key. If necessary, repair it with a steel file.
5. Check the gear teeth carefully. Burr and wear of gear teeth can cause printing failures, and damaged gears need to be replaced.
6. Carefully inspect the entire surface of the anilox roller and mark the damaged area with a marking label.
7. Set the damaged anilox roller aside for the collar machine to check again. If the damaged area of ​​the anilox roller is outside the normal printing range, it can also be used for individual printing. Even if the damaged area on the surface of the anilox roller is within the printing range, as long as the damaged area is marked, it can still be used in glazing, printing opaque white and glue application devices.
8. Check the damage of the edge of the ceramic anilox roller. Many printers can accept ceramic anilox rollers with slightly damaged edges. If the edge is severely damaged, a filter must be installed to filter out ceramic debris and other impurities in the ink.
9. Record the important data information of each anilox roller in the record book. When you find the same problem on more than one anilox roller, it should be highly valued and marked on the roller for future inspection.
10. When returning the anilox roller to storage, pay attention to whether the environment and conditions for storing the anilox roller are appropriate. Are the mesh rollers too close during storage? Has the surface between the anilox rollers come into contact? Is there enough distance between the gears so as not to touch? Are ink tanks, substrates, printed products and other things placed near the anilox roller? Does the operator get the anilox roller without any effort? If it takes a lot of effort to remove the heavier anilox roller, the labor intensity of the operator will be excessive, and the anilox roller may be damaged. The anilox roller should be supported by the journal when stored, and should never be stacked on top of each other. The anilox roller should be wrapped after cleaning to prevent accidental damage. Items covering the anilox roller should be clean and dry.
11. Strictly inspect the cleaning area. Is there good lighting in the cleaning area? Is it easy to clean the cleaning area after cleaning the anilox roller? If using ultrasonic or water spray cleaning device, is the water tank clean? Is the solvent clean? It is impossible to clean the anilox roller with a chemical cleaning agent saturated with residual ink.
12. Check the doctor blade device. How often does the doctor blade change? The replaced old doctor blade can never be used again. Is the ink tank cleaned without dry ink consolidation? Do any screws touch the surface of the anilox roller and damage the surface?
