Like the single doctor blade system, the container doctor blade system can provide a stable ink flow. At the same time, it protects the ink from contact with air and dust, because the ink is in a closed container, not exposed to the air.

The best container system is closed, so that the ink can avoid contact with air and dust during the entire printing process, allowing the ink to naturally return to the ink cartridge without relying on gravity. Because the closed system does not expose the ink to the air, it can easily maintain a stable ink pH and ink viscosity throughout the printing process. And cleaning is also very simple and easy, in most cases, automatic or semi-automatic cleaning can be used. In high-quality printing, an aspect that is often overlooked is the cleanliness of the machine and the operating conditions of the machine.

Obviously, all machine parts and electronic parts of the machine must be in normal operation to ensure the smooth progress of printing, but one of the most easily overlooked factors is the cleanliness of the machine, especially the ink metering system, the anilox roller and the printing plate. Controlling dust in the production environment is also a key factor, including the cleanliness of the substrate. All successful high-quality printers spend considerable time in the entire production process to ensure the cleanliness of the machine. Regardless of the machine's production capacity, and regardless of its old or new level, maintaining cleanliness (sometimes called internal maintenance) is a watershed between high-quality printing and general-quality printing. One factor that affects the printing quality of color registration is the combination and placement of the cardboard. Facts have proved that the most effective way to improve printing quality in flexo printing is to use a vacuum conveying system, which has now become one of the transformation forms of many equipment.

Vacuum conveying can ensure that the cardboard enters smoothly at the correct time, and conveys the cardboard to the printing unit. Traditional printing presses have a tow roller and a tow ring. If the cardboard is flat and in good condition, the cardboard will not suffer much damage during transportation.
