The most important requirement for the proofreading is to prevent the artificial deformation of the printing plate. It is also important and necessary for operators who operate automatic plate-changing machines to master manual plate-changing skills.

1. The usable printing plate should be cleaned after removing the ink, coated with protective glue, dried (blow-dried) and stored in a darkroom upright, and can not be stacked flat.

2. Before installing the version, you should first loosen the trailing version of the clip, let the version of the clip back into place, and come and go to the center (manual version of the machine).

3. The printing plate gripper must be installed in place (ie the bottom of the gripper plate holder).

4. The multi-color machine mounting plate should be positioned in two directions first to ensure that the positions of the up and down and the directions of the plates are consistent. Machines with positioning devices should allow positioning pins to be inserted into the positioning holes of the printing plate, and those without positioning should find ways to perform bidirectional positioning.

5. When installing the plate, the water roller, ink roller or pressure should be closed first, so that the printing plate and the cylinder are closely attached to prevent the printing plate from being distorted and deformed.

6. After installing the version, you should tighten the tip first and then hold the mouth tightly.

7. The proofreading paper must be pasted (referring to the bad paper used to balance the ink color after pressure printing). Proofreading paper (referring to the printed sheet or white paper used to correct the printing plate) 2-3 sheets at a time.

8. The last sheet of the input paper cannot generally be used as the basis for proofreading.

9. Proofreading should be calibrated first (check whether the rules are consistent), and the proofs can only be used for proofreading. Any changes in the rules and paper thickness must be calibrated first. The school regulations require at least 5 proof sheets at a time.

10. Folding, cutting or reflexive printing, the mouth must be flat, the error should be less than 0.2mm (2 lines), that is, come and go consistent. General printing should also try to flatten the mouth.

11. All the prints that need to be folded should be folded and checked: whether the size, page number, position, and rules of each page meet the requirements.

12. All the rules should fall on the printed sheet, and there must be no missing one.

13. For the printed parts that need to be molded, the size of the original manuscript (box sample, etc.) should be used, and various tongues and other empty spaces should be kept.

14. The proofreading and ink color should be carried out at the same time to improve production efficiency.

15. For multi-color machine proofing, the flatter plate should be selected as the reference to adjust the position of other plates to reduce the workload of proofing.

16. In principle, the fine-tuning (automatic adjustment) of the printing plate of the multi-color machine should be carried out in the state of starting (running).

17. Before installing another set of printing plates in the multi-color machine, the fine adjustment of the printing plates should be reset (zero adjustment).

18. Before calibrating the version, the front rule should be leveled (refer to the premise that the front rule is not flat).

19. Manual pull version.
