Introduces New Type of Electron Beam Hardening Inks

Japan's Toyo Ink Manufacturing Company recently introduced a new electron beam (EB) hardening ink that does not use photopolymer initiators. It is the world's first.

The ink's pigment concentration is 2.5 times higher than that of normal inks, and it has a variety of colors. Because the ink contains no photoinitiator and no solvent, it can be fixed on the printing substrate instantaneously, and can be quickly delivered and rewinded. The use of this ink can achieve high-efficiency printing, which is the world's first. In addition, the products printed with this ink have high color density and strong hiding power, and have high adhesion to various plastic films such as PET, PP, PE, and PS.
