British college students make precision aircraft models from paper

A Boeing 777 takes hundreds of people to spend a full 50 days to make, but according to the British "Daily Mail" reported on January 24, a 22-year-old British Luca Stewart made it only with cardboard and glue. According to Luca, the architecture department of his high school was excellent, and he learned how to make a simple conceptual diagram of the basic structure of a plane using Manila paper. â€œMaybe I made this airplane model to apply the idea I learned at the end to the extreme,â€ Luca said. â€œI have seen many airplane photos and drawings since these days. After referring to those graphics, I used Adobe Illustrator software to complete My own 2D airplane model map. Then I printed the model map on the document paper, edited it and assembled it."

Since the model map is not three-dimensional, Luca says assembling components like the engine and the wing can be extremely difficult, and the models must be highly accurate. "Now I have to do the wing, thank God, this is the last process!"

Luca said, "There is a great sense of accomplishment when these models are assembled successfully. Many people have told me that they even sent photos of this model to Boeing staff."
