But in the actual production process, it can not fully meet the requirements of all colors consistent. The reasons are as follows:
1. The color blocks used for ICCProfile test can only divide the color space into a limited amount, and the intermediate transition colors can only be simulated by the software operation, and the color control software can only control the color of the device through limited points. Therefore, there is no absolute guarantee that there will be no color difference.
2. The spectral characteristics of the proofing ink are inconsistent with the spectral characteristics of the printing ink, and the spectrophotometer only reads the chromaticity value under a standard light source, and this value cannot be guaranteed to be consistent under any light source.
3. There are certain differences in the stability and uniformity of the inked printing samples provided for reference, and the samples will have some color drift.
4. The stability of the proofing system itself and the error and environment of the measuring instrument will affect the consistency of the color.
5. The color of the same sample under different lighting environment, observation angle, background color and other conditions is also inconsistent.
6. The subjective perception of the observer will cause inconsistency in color perception.
Color management software and special ICC production software package can basically solve the above problems through different ways (such as curve adjustment and individual color adjustment), reduce color errors, and meet the different needs of actual production.
