Precautions for installation of box resistance furnace
1. After unpacking, check whether the box resistance furnace is intact and the accessories are complete. The general box-type resistance furnace does not require special installation, but only needs to be placed flat on a flat floor or shelf in the room. The controller should avoid vibration and should not be placed too close to the box-type resistance furnace to prevent the internal components from working properly due to overheating.
2. A thermocouple is inserted into the furnace chamber 20-50mm, and the gap between the hole and the thermocouple is filled with asbestos rope. It is better to use compensation wire (or insulated steel core wire) to connect the thermocouple to the control. Pay attention to the positive and negative poles and do not connect them reversely.
3. An additional power switch needs to be installed at the entrance of the power cord to control the total power supply. In order to ensure safe operation, the box-type resistance furnace and the controller must be reliably grounded.
4. Before use, adjust the thermometer indicator to the zero point. When using the compensation wire and cold junction compensator, the mechanical zero point should be adjusted to the reference temperature point of the cold junction compensator. When the compensation wire is not used, the mechanical zero point Adjust to zero scale, but the indicated temperature is the temperature difference between the measuring point and the cold end of the thermocouple.
5. After checking the wiring to confirm that it is correct, cover the controller housing. Adjust the setting pointer of the temperature indicator to the required working temperature, and then turn on the power. Turn on the power switch. At this time, the green light on the temperature indicator is on, the relay starts to work, the box-type resistance furnace is energized, and the ammeter shows the current. As the internal temperature of the box-type resistance furnace increases, the pointer of the temperature indicating instrument also gradually rises. This phenomenon indicates that the system works normally. The temperature rise and constant temperature of the box-type resistance furnace are indicated by the traffic lights of the temperature indicator, the green light indicates the temperature rise, and the red light indicates the constant temperature.
