Tetra Pak recycles eagerly for scale

Summer is the peak season for beverage sales, but the circular economy of the Tetra Pak in Xiamen has not been “fired up” due to hot weather. The recycling rate of waste beverage packaging is still only about 10%.

At present, the waste music bag is mainly recovered from some 40 green recycling outlets in Xiamen City and recycling bins set up on the campuses of major middle schools. However, the effect is not obvious. There are still relatively few people who keep the Tetra Pak package and sell it. The main reason is that the recycling network of Tetra Pak in Xiamen and its surrounding areas has not yet reached a systematic and large scale, and the public’s awareness of the recycling of Tetra Pak is not high.

It is understood that every recycling of 1 ton of scrap aluminum, can save 1,500 tons of ore, saving 2600 degrees, saving 3.2 tons of coal; each recycling of 1 ton of waste paper can save 3 cubic meters of wood, saving 600 degrees, 100 cubic meters of water saving; 1 ton of waste plastic can save 1.2 tons of oil. The Tetra Pak package is made of 3 kinds of raw materials. The outer layer is paper, the middle layer is plastic, and the inner layer is aluminum and platinum. Xiamen City has established a professional Tetra Pak recycling plant that can separate three layers and extract pulp for copying. Paper, fax paper, extract plastic made of plastic products, extract aluminum powder to send aluminum to aluminum ingots. If it is improperly used, it will be treated as landfill. The plastic and metal aluminum, even if it is hard to dissolve in 200 years, will also seriously contaminate the groundwater source, laying a hidden danger for the future living environment.

Although the hot days did not "bake" the hot music packs to recover the economy, some manufacturers have already looked at the enormous potential for recycling. A related person in charge of a Tetra Pak Recycling Company stated that in the future, Tetra Pak will continue to increase its efforts to recycle Tetra Pak. The focus of the work of recycling Tetra Pak will be placed on various tourist attractions and a more standardized residential community. Recycling bins of the Tetra Pak come into the area and the community so that residents can do their jobs with environmental protection.
