A snowboard evaluation was made at the invitation of OUTSIDE Magazine. Prior magazines repeatedly confirmed that I did not participate in any competition this year, did not receive any vendor sponsorship, I arranged for this evaluation to ensure the fairness of the evaluation. In fact, no matter how others confirm, what I write must strive to be objective, fair, detailed, and based on logic analysis.

The four snowboards are:

1, VOLK Racetiger Speedwall SL, belonging to Walker's top small rotary board;

2, Rossignol Zenith Titanal, is an all-terrain large rotating plate of Golden Rooster;

3, Head worldcup isl, Hyde's top small rotary board;

4, Atomic race d2 sl, Atuomi's top small rotary plate;

5, Nordica Hotrod Tempest, Nordica's all-around board.

The designs all have their own characteristics, but things are good or not, relying on a pair of feet (to test).

According to the evaluation form provided by the magazine, one by one:

1, Name: VOLK Racetiger Speedwall SL Walker top small swivel plate

Rating: 8 points out of 10

analysis:

The first thing to get to this snowboard is its unique and simple design. The bright yellow main colors give people a more cheerful and lively feeling. The logos and models occupying more positions on the board are all displayed with glossy silver wire. This kind of bright silver surface is covered with slightly reflective parts covered by other parts. The material produces the kind of high quality and hard snowboard image.
In the test, I felt that the snowboard had moderate hardness and strong elasticity, and the hardness was even from the board to the end of the board. This means that for the less powerful skier, it can produce the obvious sense of “eat and eat”, but it cannot be easily twisted and turned, and more body movements must be used. For skiers with greater strength or skiers with greater ski power, especially those with high technical skills, they can make better use of the hardness of snowboards to cut snow, move blades, and use the flexibility of skis to make turns. And get rebound momentum.
The terrain on hard snow and chaotic snow, which is mainly composed of hard snow, performed very well. However, in soft snow terrain, its processing capacity is very weak, and its stability is also poor.

Suggest:

Without enough glide ability, this snowboard is not a good choice. But on the contrary, it will become a master weapon.

My supplement:

A top-ranking small revolving door originally pursues the processing capability of hard snow, but since the magazine has arranged for testing on soft snow, it must be considered that most domestic snow-fellows will also use a single board to handle different terrains. This arrangement is also Justified.

However, because of the design bias, it is difficult to require a small swivel plate to perform well on hard snow.

This snowboard gave me a very special feeling at the beginning: the snowboard head is square. Not only square, but also on the head of the steel edge. Square heads, steel edges, together with the overall earthy and black color design, the overall feeling is calm and atmospheric, as well as low-key.
At the beginning of the test, I thought that this was just an ordinary, mediocre, versatile board. But at the beginning of the taxi, I was surprised to find that it surpassed my imagination for snow handling.
First of all, snowboards are unusually stable in the complex chaos of soft and hard mixed snow, and the weight-reducing plate head and plate body multi-layered shock-absorbing design effectively relieves snow surface rebound forces on complex grounds and gives people a kind of stability. Gentle, confident gliding feelings.
The large board design makes it very easy to turn, regardless of chaotic terrain or hard snow. I think this is an all-inclusive board that is very inclusive and can basically meet the needs of most skiers. What's even more rare is that you can steer it to snow.

Suggest:

This is a classic multi-topography, adapting to different levels and different body weights. But if you want to use this snowboard to get the ultimate CARVING effect, or to ride freely in full powder snow, I am afraid it will be very disappointing. It is not designed for this purpose.

My supplement:

The difficulty of the snowboard design is not the simple aspect of the head and waist ratio, but the overall elasticity of the snowboard and the elasticity of different parts, but also the extent to which the snowboard absorbs feedback on the snow surface, and how much this absorption level is. Too big, no snow, too small to guarantee smoothness. So looking at an all-terrain board depends mainly on its arrangements for shock absorption on the snow.

analysis:

From the design point of view, I do not have any sense of this snowboard, white bottom, red words, is the classic? Or simple? Some people may like it, but in this era of expressing ideas through design and connotation beyond the table, this simplicity is not easy to understand. The miller's head is posted on the tip of the board so that people can enjoy it and buy it.
This snowboard is not a generalized hard. This is comparable to the real World Cup Swift. If you want to use this board to make a beautiful CARVING movement on a hard snowy road, I am afraid it needs some skill. Of course, this snowboard's elasticity is good, but the premise of flexibility is that you can bend it and bend it, otherwise a straight bar can't give you anything.
In a chaotic complex terrain, this hard plate feels even worse, because the snow surface cannot provide enough support, and this piece of snowboard is not designed for this type of terrain, so it is difficult to bend and it is difficult to absorb shocks. On a soft and hard mixed snow surface, if you don't have enough power, it's good to be able to not wrestle.

Suggest:

Of course, if you are a skier, you may like it. When you need to go over the small swing flag at the big time, a stiff support is especially important.

My supplement:

No matter what powerful information technology is, it must be converted into a realistic mechanical force to make a difference. How can HEAD's piezoelectric core change the torsion of the snowboard without any external kinetic energy? I think it is still a mystery. Of course, whether it really can be achieved is also a mystery.

4, Atomic race d2 sl, Atomi's top small swivel plate

Rating: 8.5 out of 10

analysis:

The brand's athletic board design is always the classic big red, but this design I think is worse than the past, there is no eye-catching, bright feeling of the past design.
This snowboard pioneer uses the "Transformers" arm design. The design of the arm is a bit of a taste in many years, but from the performance of this board, the design of the board should participate in the technical formation of the skier.
When I made a rounded cut with gentle power, there was no distortion in the snowboard. I felt very uncomfortable and uncontrollable. However, once a sudden force is applied, the snowboard is strongly impacted at the last moment of the turn, and the snowboard is suddenly distorted, smoothly turning, and leaving a comma-like trajectory on the snow surface.
The snowboard teaches people to ski. I think this RACE SL is achieved.

Suggest:

If you want to control the snowboard with the slippery way of the wild, you will be disappointed. When it left the designer's desktop, it had already decided on the user's gliding mode. It was to focus on the front, soften it to a sudden boost, and slide out the comma curve.

5, Nordica Hotrod Tempest, Nordica's all-around board.

analysis:

This snowboard design can be described in two ways: one is: low-key; the other is: plain and unorthodox. But no matter what kind, I think this design does express the connotation of this snowboard.
In the whole process of gliding this snowboard, I spent the unhappy process. But in order to prevent prejudice and not objective, I carefully carried out three modes of taxiing and tried to find its advantages.
The first one is to test this all-round board to deal with the "chaotic" nature, I chose to be slumped piles of soft snow. Here, the weight of this snowboard is lighter, and it is too thin, and there is no elasticity. It is like sliding with a thin iron shell. The snowboard is often floating and the stability is extremely poor.
The second is to choose hard snow for moving. As a result, this "thin, hard, light, and inelastic" feature did not give me a smooth feeling.
The third kind is jumping. Because of the lightness of the snowboard, I think it is not used for jumping? So I chose air bag jump to test. The results are still not satisfactory. Not only is the stability poor, but the characteristics of being floating before the jump also make people have no confidence in taking off.

Suggest:

If it is particularly cheap, it may be a novice choice.

My supplement:

Nordica's shoes are well-recognized. I have a pair and give me a very comfortable feeling. I like it very much. However, his family's board is indeed not a director. It seems that the accumulation of history, the precipitation of technology, and especially the understanding of the gliding feelings have not been successful overnight.
