Western Australia Launches New Eco-Friendly Wine Packaging - CheerPack

Recently, Adelaide company SoftPack Australia Pty Ltd has spent 18 months developing a fully recyclable aluminum-plastic packaging - "CheerPack" "CheerPack" compounded by recyclable soft plastic and aluminum foil Made of smaller nozzles and screw caps are the innovations, the products are easy to store, the caps are ready to drink, lightweight, portable, safe and practical, in line with modern lifestyle and environmental protection requirements. The initial capacity design of the package is 750mL, but it can be delivered according to customer requirements 187mL ~ 1L package. The experimental study also proved that this new package will not affect the quality and taste of wine, but the shelf life is slightly shorter than ordinary bottled wine, generally l2 ~ 24 months.

In November 2006, Palandri Wines of Western Australia had exported the first batch of 3,500 boxes of “CheerPack” baldvis Estate brand wines to Canada. Western Australian wine traders hope that Canadian consumers can enjoy this new packaging. In the next six months, more than 15,000 boxes of newly-packed Merlot, Syrah and Chardonnay wines will be exported to Canada.

Founded in 1999, Palandri is the largest wine exporter in Western Australia. The company believes that "CheerPack" is a major innovation in the wine industry, fully able to meet the requirements of overseas consumers, and has strong market potential. The company plans to expand this new type of packaged wine into the North American and European markets in the next two years, which is expected to increase its export earnings by $32 million.

UK successfully develops environmentally friendly paper roll
