Tetra Pak China recycles over 4,900 tons

Yesterday, the reporter was informed that in 2006, Tetra Pak China's packaging recycling capacity has reached more than 4,900 tons, equivalent to 500 million Tetra Pak packaging. This is a set of data shown in the Tetra Pak China Environmental Report, which was first published by Tetra Pak, a food processing and packaging supplier.

It is reported that Tetrah requires all suppliers to ensure that the cardboard is from a legal and well-managed forest. In the field of packaging recycling, the total recycling volume of Tetra Pak after consumption in 2006 increased by 76% compared with 2001. Since Tetra Pak launched its business in China in 1979, it has established a recycling network and has spent more than 10 million yuan annually on various projects.
