Once triggered, the LED will illuminate the bottle and the inside of the beverage for a certain period of time.

According to Griffiths, these bottles cover almost all colors, including red, white, blue, green, yellow and even ultraviolet (UV). He said: "In a dark environment, ultraviolet light can illuminate its sensitive labels to achieve perfect results." Similarly, it is also possible to use a combination of colors, such as blue, red, and red. Or pulse pattern. Griffiths added that in order to achieve the desired transmission effect, the light must be able to pass through the bottle, so it is best to use a transparent container. Similarly, the material of the bottle must also be light-transmissive, not light-absorbent.

Depending on the effect the customer wants to achieve, the Cognifex device's luminaire function can last from a few minutes to several months. Griffiths said that, for example, after the bottle is opened, the luminescence effect lasts only about 30 minutes, because after the drink is finished, the bottle is basically thrown aside, and for products that need to be displayed for marketing purposes, they Can provide a pulse effect that can last six months.

In addition, the product can also be used for competitions or promotional activities. The winning packaging or bottle can be issued in different colors from other bottles.

At present, the technology has not yet been put into commercial operation. Griffiths said Cognifex is currently negotiating with many beverage manufacturers and hopes to launch the first product in the second half of this year. Manufacturers who choose to use this technology will receive an authorised and mass-produced Cognifex product (mainly from the Far East region) that is designed according to the color and specifications requested by the customer. Then, these devices can be placed on the packaging when the beverage is bottled.
